Early morning at 05:00 am, you will be picked up at Hotel in Jakarta by our representative. Then proceed to the border of Baduy Tribe by a private car which takes around 3,5 hours approximately. Breakfast will be provided at the local restaurant where you can enjoy a cup of coffee. And after we have had breakfast, we prepare to explore the unique of Baduy Tribe where you will visit the Sundanese ethnic. (Not allowed to visit the inner Baduy and its only the outer Baduy). Explore Baduy Tribe, who call themselves Kanekes, are traditional Sundanese community living in the western part of Indonesia province of Banten, near Rangkasbitung. The population of 11,700 is centered in the Kendeng Mountains at an elevation 0f 300-500 meters above sea level. Ethnically the Baduy’s belong to the Sundanese ethnic group. Their racial, physical and linguistic traits bear much resemblance to the rest of the Sundanese people, however, the difference is in their way of life. Baduy people resist foreign influences and vigorously preserve their ancient way of life, while modern Sundanese are more open to foreign influences and a majority are Muslim. The Baduy are divided into two sub-groups, the Baduy Dalam (Inner Baduy), and the Baduy Luar (Outer Baduy). No foreigners were allowed to meet the Inner Baduy do foster some limited contacts with the outside world. The origin of the world Baduy may come from the term “ Bedouin” although other sources claim the source is a name of a local river. Explore the outer Baduy. Then at 4 Pm, proceed back to Jakarta. End of tour.

Breakfast will be provided at the local house at 07:00 am where you will enjoy the beautiful glory morning at Gazebo. And after we have had breakfast, we still go around  the outer baduy tribe where you can visit the other villages at the outer baduy. Explore the outer baduy. Lunch will be provided. And after lunch, proceed back to Jakarta. End of tour.
